In2Deep
This Friday a new local night kicks off here in Sydney with a focus on the 'deeper' sounds of electronic music. From the brain child of nights Sunday School (with sets appearing on this blog and many past posts on the night), Shrug and now In2Deep this is a night about getting deep and down with the underground alongside a few of the best deepest and creepiest Sydney DJs.
As the promo says: This is another adventure down those dodgy stairs to the realms of the seedy intimate venue we all love, that always has heads nodding, feet shuffling and jaws dropping, along to bass, treble and groove It’s these elements that you wish you heard more of but never find.
Those dodgy stairs are of course The Bunker which has become somewhat of an infamous venue here in Sydney with many amazing local sets as wells as surprise international sets going down every weekend. I'm compiling DJ sets recorded at the bunker over various different nights for one release of underground goodness so if you have any please pass on the links and comment below!
Robbie Lowe takes the helm and if you haven't already done so do check out his COLOUR mix series below. Fellow Colour mixer Tim Culbert also takes on closing duties while recently returned local-big-shot Carlos Zarate on warm-up duties. DJs Trinity, easily one of the best female mnml-tech DJs going around in Aus, and Dave Stuart go back to back for what will definitely be one beautiful slab of serious deepness...
