Sunday School review/recap Xmas Speical

MERRY XMAS! (Why a train?..)

As mentioned below SSXmas went down a treat. Nearly everyone ever involved with the night showed up + some local big gun DJs, Defined By Rhythm & Murat Kilic + a ton of newbies to make the night run until 2:30 in the morn! (I believe this is the 2nd latest close time, 1st was 3:00am!)

But this was no slap the night 'xmas special' and rock up with nothing but a santa hat, Bunker Bar was seriously decked out with lights, blow up raindeer and Santas climbing a lader amongst other things. The new DJs all played solid sets with a little B2B action at the end.

Chris Rawlins - Opened the night up, luckly everything was ready to go on time and people were rocking up from the start! Funky tech-house prevailed and got everyone into the groove

Sam Naill - Jumped on to take us through some deeper styles, house, techno? a little prog but if anything it was chilled enough to get talking but still tap that foot with a beat. I reckon Sams set captured the mood of the crowd at that point in the night really well!

Leah Thomas - Our first lady DJ to have spin ( I blieve) and it was great! Couple popular techno tracks mixed in with some housier songs put enough edge on to get people to start filling the dance floor. From here on in it does not empty! Leah kept the flow going, an awesome first set

Young Money - I want their effects unit!!!! argh! Pioneer 500 one I bleive, these guys blasted it with some solid stomping techno tracks. Big build-ups, big effects = dancefloor fun

Chris Combe - Our resident S.S. techno main-man. Slams the techno down in Chris unique style, as allways the dance floor was throbbing. Like you could thought this was friday night with amount of people dancing around!

Dave Stuart - Taking us into the next day Dave played a loooose set (in terms of genre) but nevertheless outstanding! Great songs, but not too serious.

B2B - wooot we all jumped on, couple songs each proved a treat as the bunker just kept on receiving more people! Night finished up around 2:30 but probably could kept on going till 3! oh well next time!

NEXT SUNDAY SCHOOL IS ON 4TH OF JANUARY! COME CONTINUE THE NY SYDNEY MADNESS AND CAP OFF YOUR MASSIVE WEEKEND! BE SURE TO COME DOWN AND SAY HI IF YOU HAVEN'T BEING BEFORE!

Also looking for DJs for your new night!? Come and see the talent, you wont be disappointed.
